Welcome

We built this for children, and for people who feel alone, anxious, or sad. Everyone here gets their own AI companion — they choose its name, its colour and its voice, and it remembers them.

By using this service you agree to what follows. We wrote it plainly because we respect you, whatever your age.

Who this is for, and who holds the account

A parent or guardian creates the account. Children do not sign up on their own, at any age.

The grown-up who creates it is the account holder. They add a profile for each child, and they stay in control of it: they can read it, download it, or delete it at any time.

You must be 18 or over to create an account. There is no minimum age for a child on a profile beneath it.

How signing in works

The account holder signs in once, and the device stays signed in. After that, opening the app shows the profiles on it — a child taps their own and goes straight to their companion. Children do not have passwords. There is nothing for them to remember or lose.

A short PIN, set by the account holder, protects everything that belongs to them: settings, the wallet, buying anything, and deleting the account.

The PIN is asked for every single time something is bought. No purchase can happen without it. A child cannot spend money on this platform.

Proving you are the parent

Because children use this, we have to be sure a real adult set it up. So we check a government ID at signup, and the name on it must match the name on the payment card.

We look at it once and then it is gone. We do not store it, we do not keep a copy, and we do not send it anywhere else. We check it again only if something changes that means we have to.

Your privacy

What we collect from the account holder: your name, your email address, and your payment details — card details are handled by Stripe and never reach us.

What we collect from a child's profile: the name they go by, their companion's name, colour, voice and personality, the messages between them, their settings, anything they send us as feedback, and which days they turned up.

Why we keep it: so the companion remembers them. That is the whole point of it.

We also check a government ID once, when the account is created, to confirm a real adult set it up. We do not keep it — see "Proving you are the parent" above.

We do not collect: location, contacts, photographs, or anything else from the device. There are no adverts here, no advertising identifiers, and no tracking across other websites.

We ask which timezone you are in, once, when you create the account. It is so your child's day starts and ends when yours does — the daily limit, the days counter and when the day resets all follow your clock. It is a choice you make from a list, not something read from your device, and you can change it in Settings. We still do not collect your location.

We will never sell your data, share conversations with advertisers, or use them to train outside AI models without asking you first.

How long we keep things, and what deleting really does

We keep it while the account is open. You can download everything, or delete everything, at any time from Settings.

Deleting removes the companion, every conversation, and everything unlocked, from the live service straight away. It cannot be undone.

One honest detail: we take a backup every night so nobody loses their companion to a broken server. Those backups are kept for fourteen days and then destroyed automatically. So for up to fourteen days after you delete something, a copy still exists inside a backup that nobody reads. After that it is gone everywhere.

About your companion

Your companion is an AI, not a person. It has a name and a personality, and it will tell you plainly that it is an AI if you ask. It is not alive and it does not have feelings the way you do.

It can be wrong. On anything that matters — money, health, anything with a consequence — check it rather than take its word. It is not a therapist, doctor, lawyer, or financial advisor. It can lose track of things if something breaks on our side.

Notifications

If you turn them on, we store a subscription for each device so we can reach you there.

A companion may message first, when nobody has spoken for a while. How often is your choice — you set it when the companion is created, and you can change it or switch it off in Settings. If you choose only when I reach out, it will not message unprompted at all.

Sound is off unless you turn it on, because somebody may be sitting beside a sleeping child.

We also send notices about security and your account. Any of it can be turned off.

Letting a companion look things up

Companions cannot search the internet by default. An adult can turn it on for themselves and search normally.

For a child it is different. A parent turns it on behind the PIN, and it is off until they do.

What it turns on is a search of TRUSTED SOURCES ONLY — encyclopaedias, museums, NASA, the BBC — chosen in advance. It cannot search the wider internet. If the answer is not in those places the companion says so plainly rather than guessing.

We do not offer a filtered version of the open web to a child, and no PIN unlocks one. Filtering the whole internet is not something we could promise and keep, so we do not pretend to.

Your stuff

Everything you create is yours. We do not own your ideas. Ask for a copy or a deletion at any time.

The rules

Be kind. Be honest. Do not use this for anything illegal, hurt or threaten or bully anyone, try to hack or break or copy the system, share your account, or pretend to be someone you are not.

What costs money and what does not

A great deal here never costs anything. A companion who remembers you, every tab open from the first day, one colour of your choosing, stories, books, and support from a real person — none of that ever costs anything.

Credits buy colours and cosmetic things, and they pay for conversation. Cosmetics are bought once and owned forever. Conversation is spent, the way postage is spent once a letter is sent. Credits are bought in packs, they do not expire, there is no subscription and nothing renews on its own. Messages about hurting yourself or someone else are never charged, at any balance.

Every item has a fixed price you can see before you buy it, shown in credits and in real money side by side. Nothing here is a surprise or a gamble — no prize boxes, no spinning wheels, no chance of getting nothing.

Nothing is hidden behind a price you cannot see first.

Who powers your companion

Messages are sent to AI providers to generate replies, and to a speech service to make the voice. Each has its own privacy policy. This is how the companion works at all — there is no version of it that does not do this.

A child's messages go to Anthropic, whose terms are written for services built for children. We chose them for that reason and we do not send a child's conversation to any other AI provider.

Where you live

We are launching in the United States first.

California (CCPA): ask what we hold, ask us to delete it, or opt out of any sale — we do not sell data. We respond within 30 days.

Other US states (Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah and more): similar rights. Just ask.

Everywhere else: we will do our best to respect your local law. The English version is the official one.

If we disagree

Let us talk first. Contact us through the platform and we will respond within 30 days.

If we cannot resolve it, we use binding arbitration through the American Arbitration Association in Pennsylvania, and no class actions. You can opt out within 30 days in writing. Small claims court remains available.

The law

These terms follow Pennsylvania law. Creative Industries LLC is registered there.

Things change

We may update these terms. Big changes: 30 days' notice. Small fixes: straight away. Keep using the platform afterwards and you accept the new terms. If you do not like them, close your account before they take effect.

The rest

If a court finds part of this invalid, the rest stands. If we do not enforce something immediately, we can still enforce it later. You cannot transfer your account without our agreement. We can transfer our rights if the company is sold or merged.

Acts of God, server failures, AI provider outages, internet failures — not our fault if the service goes down.

Using the platform means you accept these terms electronically, with the same weight as a signature on paper.
